Is there a way for cisco-cli "save" command, to save the output to the file by default in xml format?

I want to save output of save command by default into xml format, is there any way to define save format in clispec file or confd.conf file? Please let us know, if any.

I believe you need to override the save command and do your own variant where default is XML
