What was the reasoning for leaving out the python api from the basic edition? Any plans to add this and examples in the future?
The Python API is a feature offered in ConfD Premium and are not available for ConfD Basic.
In ConfD Premium, the Python API is implemented as a wrapper around the C API. If you want to use Python, you should either license ConfD Premium or write your own wrapper.
Seems like you’re ruling out a large user base for a release that’s intended to evangelize your product. But ok, thanks for the response.
