See the ConfD examples.confd/ha/dummy example for a demo on how to run multiple ConfD instances on the same device. The intent of that HA example is not to demo running multiple ConfD instances, but you will get an idea of how you can do so from it. I.e. how the confd.conf differs (port numbers) and how the ConfD instances persisted state resides in their own folders etc.
