Hi,
Currently, as I understand from the documentation Confd doesn’t support RFCs 8342 & 8349.
Do you have any plans to support it in new versions? if yes, when?
Thanks,
Evyatar

Adding RFC8342 NMDA as a supported feature in ConfD is in the development backlog. However, it has not yet been assigned to a release. It is relatively high in the backlog list.
RFC 8349 NMDA Routing Model would be done as an upgrade to the existing RFC 8022 Routing Model which is part of the examples.confd/linuxcfg example.
Hi,
Is there any update regarding the support for RFC-8342?
Is that RFC already assigned to specific Conf-D release?
Thanks,

Hi,
Can you please answer my question regarding Confd support for RFC-8342?
Thanks,
Evyatar
Initial ConfD support for RFC8342 Network Management Datastore Architecture (NMDA) is currently planned for a ConfD 7.3 December release. As you may know, ConfD Basic is a best-effort version of ConfD so the Basic version of 7.3 will be available sometime after the premium release.
If you need to be on the bleeding edge of ConfD development and releases, please consider ConfD Premium (see “Contact Us” box)
Regarding JNC, that project seems to be on ice awaiting someone to fork it and take ownership. The Python ncclient project on GitHub seems to have received most of the attention lately. Don’t know what the NMDA status is there.
