Undeletable YANG Entry

Hello Folks,
Is there a possible way to define undeletable yang entry (leaf)?

I mean, netconf client can add/edit my leaf but it can’t delete my leaf?

Hello Logan,

Yes maybe it can be useful, if i write a rule this like this: this file can’t be deleted from any user or can be deleted from a specific user.

But i was searching a keyword for this purpose.

This depends on how your specific use-case needs to model data restriction…

One approach could be mandatory statement to enforce that leaf must have some value set at all times (https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/rfc7950#section-7.6.5).
